This was my first time trying West African food. I ordered egusi with pounded yam. It was delicious. I have since returned to try other classic dishes. I am extremely happy to have found Suya Joint.

Stumbled upon this amazing food truck while my family and I were out on a walk around the Charlestown Navy Yard. The food from the first bite was amazing! So flavorful, fresh, and vibrant. Even had my 2 year old giving it 2 thumbs up. I have had many cuisines and it is too bad I have not tried you guys sooner! I see that times are tough right now for this restaurant so lets keep such an amazing place afloat! 5 stars is my review (out of 5). Ill keep trying more from the menu. Lets keep local alive!

First time eating Draw soup a few weeks ago and I think I've been converted 😂🙌🏾 Absolutely delicious! 10/10 experience — I'll definitely be having this again.

I am obsessed with this Jollof, best Jollof in RI BY FAR!! If you have a hard time with heat, I recommend getting mild to start with bc the jump to medium can be STEEP!! It's so flavorful even without the heat. At this restaurant heat and spice/seasoning are sold separately. Meaning, you're not sacrificing flavor by getting a milder spice level. We love to see it!!!

I can't get enough of Suya joint and I will continue to drive from CT just to order meals here. I love the spice and flavor of the food and so far Suya Joint has the best Egusi I've had in my area! I typically order the soup with fish but have loved the beef variant too. Loved it so much I bought a family sized soup and ate it solo 😂 I love the plantain side, honestly I just love all of their food! Come eat here, you won't regret it!

Incredibly delicious and hearty vegetarian egusi. A great way to get your protein as a vegetarian, and I love to add their tofu too. The eba is my favorite, but their pounded yam swallow is also amazing. A well-rounded meal that you can really enjoy and get multiple servings from!

I tried fufu and egusi for the first time, and was so amazed by how delicious it was here at suya joint!! They also have clear labels for gluten allergies which was very helpful for myself as a celiac. Wonderful experience and I will be back very soon
